Just used my donut pan today for the first time. Tried a recipe from the internet and it worked great! Just bought 1 pan to try it. I plan to buy another pan and get a cookbook of donut recipes. This will be fun to use with the grandkids!
Donuts better than store bought Jan 19, 2026
Recipe is great and easily modified w/variety of ingredients.
Everyone from great grandparents to grandchildren loved them.
Glad I purchased two.

 Donut pan doesn't brown well Jan 09, 2026
My kids were super excited to make donuts at home. I made the recipe on the package and the result was that it had good flavor but the donut color was too light, more "blonde". I tried making with brown sugar but that didn't help. It's really more like a donut-shaped muffin. The pan is silver and not black as well. When I saw the package I was so excited because it had examples of all types of fun donuts with sprinkles and frosting. I can't imagine how you would be able to get them that brown without frying them. I did try contacting the company and did not receive a reply.
However, that being said (thank you Larry David), my kids loved them and were very happy. We eat gluten-free so this is a nice alternative to buying frozen ones which are expensive.
GREAT ITEM TO MAKE WONDERFUL DONUTS Jan 08, 2026
I was not quite sure what to expect with this item, but I have used it three times making three different donuts and my family loves them. This is easy to use and clean up is a breeze, no frying, no oil just pan an oven

This is a great donut pan. Against my instincts I used the recipe that came with the pan. I was very disappointed in the results. However my own recipe yielded very good baked donuts. Loved the pan .. disliked the recipe!
