 Poorly engineered Dec 06, 2025
I was excited about this pan based on the reviews of Swiss Diamond's cooking surface. When I opened the package and tried to remove the pan the long handle fell off. I replaced the screw but I was unable to tighten it as the screw hole in the pan was stripped out. It was obvious that the projection on the pan was not long enough to provide adequate screw threads. I consider this to be a serious engineering problem and am surprised that the company has let this slide by. The pan may cook nicely if it stays together but I am better served by a Lodge cast iron grill pan at $20.
This experience was disappointing to me but at least Amazon took care of the return promptly and without any problem.

You could not ask for a better grill pan! I found it from attending cooking classes and the chefs of Charleston were raving about it. Yes! It is the best grill pan of all. No worries about metal utensils or dishwashers. It is made from diamonds and can heat up hot enough for the best sear of those steaks!

This high quality grill pan really does the job. It heats up evenly and grills to perfection. I especially like the high sides of the pan. It greatly reduces the spatter that usually ends up all over your stovetop. Cleanup is a breeze, unlike other so-called non-stick grill pans I have purchased in the past. I highly recommend this grill pan.
