2Not worth the cost...  Mar 31, 2010
I bought this for my dad for Father's Day. At first it was perfect, even heating and cooking, unlike some lower end and thinner models. He only pulls it out to use every couple of weeks, but after a few months, we noticed it started to rock on our flat cooktop. A year later and roughly only 1/3 of the pan is in contact with the cooktop at a given time, usually the 1/3 near the handle as it's extra weight keeps it leaning that way. Needless to say this makes even cooking somewhat problematic. I've heard that fast heating or cooling can cause aluminum to warp, but we have other, older hard anodized pans from Circulon and Kitchenaid and haven't had this happen.
Then there's the non-stick interior that isn't really non-stick. Not only does it do only a mediocre job of keeping food from sticking, you still can't scrub off the reminder without damaging what little non-stick there is. We have the same problem I saw mentioned in another review, a blackish sticky buildup that can't be cleaned off. Looks more like cast iron than non-stick these days.

I bought this because I thought it would be a better performer than the cheaper models but feel I just threw away the extra cash. I may send it in and see if the warranty covers it, but the language in their policy includes excuses for lack of 'proper care'. Because of the pan's warping problem we somewhat wrote this pan off as far as care goes and it looks easily twice as old as it is. So I don't really want to spend another 10-15 bucks to ship it to them only to be told I didn't take proper care of it, even though I did... until after it went bad.

5Awesome pan!! Worth the money!  Nov 04, 2009
This pan is awesome. It's very well built and sturdy. I am a huge Calphalon pan user and this one is one of their best. Worth every penny!

5Excellent quality  Aug 18, 2009
My husband cooks breakfast at our B&B and he just loves Calphalon. When the commercial nonstick was changed he worried about the options. This One Nonstick is just as great as the old commercial nonstick. He highly recommends it.

5Would buy this all over again!  Mar 23, 2009
This is a great product. Absolutely no problem with sticking. Incredibly easy to clean up. Plus it's sturdy and of high-quality as you would expect from a Calphalon product. Makes great grilled cheese, pancakes and french toast but I also am able to use it for eggs over easy and other items that don't run. I highly recommend!

5Great for pancakes  Oct 21, 2008
Just got this pan as a wedding present. Lightly seasoned it as described in the packaging and made a big batch of pancakes. I added no additional fat/oil to the pan cooking 16-20 pancakes and all were beautifully golden brown. No sticking whatsoever & very even heat distribution on my gas stove. Recommended.
