 Calphalon One Nonstick 13" deep skillet a must for every cook Mar 02, 2025
True to Calphalon's standards, this 13" deep skillet is built to last, performs as promised, and is versatile. The One Nonstick surface cleans easily. The glass cover allows perfect viewing and both skillet and cover can be used in the oven.
The skillet's ample depth is perfect for making Pasta Puttanesca and other dishes that require room for tossing. Note that this skillet is large. Keep this in mind when thinking of where you will store it. Lastly, the skillet is quite hefty, and you will be happy it has a helping handle.

I've heard the great reputation of this Calphalon One nonstick 13-inch deep skillet with glass lid and bought this before christmas at $100. The skillet looks well built, and it is very balanced while I hold it in hand. I always use wood or bamboo utensil in cooking and use its soft side of sponge for washing. however, in less than one month, I've seen several permanent scratches in the skillet, which totally disappoints me. I would have not bought this skillet if I have known the non-stick surface is as fragile as other brands. So my opinion to this skillet: if you are looking for a durable non-stick skillet, don't buy this one for its appearance. Anyone who has good experience with durable nonstick skillet, please feel free to make recommendation. Thanks.

Got this for Christmas and I can tell it will be a favorite. The bottom is heavy with near perfect heat distribution. The long handle is comfortable to use, and the glass lid seals better to the pan than any covered pan I've used. The handle on the lid is a perfect size and doesn't get hot.

I have used this item twice. It is not non-stick when frying eggs; they most certainly stick when fried without additional oil even though advertising and instructions lead you to believe otherwise. Adding insult to injury, Amazon leads you to believe that you are getting a great deal; however, yesterday I saw exactly the same item in my local Williams Sonoma store for exactly the same price of $99.95.
