We originally got this pan as part of a set as a wedding gift several years ago. The surface coating of our original pan had worn through in areas and we decided to replace it so that our eggs would not stick during breakfast. The replacement pan behaves totally different than the original - dug the old pan out of the trash ... it still works better than the new one. Same model number, looks identical but sure is disappointing. Our guess is that it is a cheapened version of a previously excellent product. Very disappointed...certainly should not be considered an omelet pan ... everything sticks... a stainless steel pan works better and is easier to clean (also way less expensive).

I have owned these pans for years now and if you follow mfg., instructions they last for a long long time.
Two important things are to NOT cook on High and NOT to use cooking sprays.
They heat up qickly and hold the heat so you can actually finish the last few minutes of cooking while the gas or electric is turned off. The pan hold the heat so wonderfully.

The entire family has used the fry pan for omelets. Everyone is happy and commented how easy it is too clean.

If you cook alot or a little you will like this pan. Versatile size and non-stick Caphalon quality! I recommend handwashing, not dishwasher.

Calphalon One Infused Anodized 10-Inch Fry Pan
This pan has the worst non-stick performance of any pan I have ever used. Everything sticks to this pan, no matter how much butter or oil is added before cooking. Omlettes are a disaster with this pan. I have much better non-stick performance with a bare stainless steel Calphalon fry pan than this. For the money, a very disapointing product.
