Warps Under Most Conditions Mar 27, 2010 This pan warped after the first use, even though I followed the use instructions and did not use high heat. Thankfully Calphalon has excellent customer service, and prepaid the return shipping. They state to start the pan on low heat and very gradually bring it up to temperature. This is a real inconvenience. I would expect better from this manufacturer and especially at this price. Because of the warping the pan is of only limited use. I plan to try their way of preheating on the replacement pan, but at the first sign of trouble, I intend to return it for a refund.
Warps Mar 17, 2010 I have the same issues as everyone else here. The bottom warped after a while. I had a pan replaced by Calphalon, and the new pan seemed alright for a while, but got warped, again, after a year or so. I am planning to send it back, again, since I paid a lot of money for it. I like the size and the shape, but tired of dealing with the an uneven bottom. After I get a new pan, I will start saving for the same size All-clad.
Warped badly Feb 20, 2010 I too have a glass top stove. Every shallow Calphalon pan I have that is used frequently (all frying pans) have warped. After what I've read here and elsewhere, I'm not sure I even want to bother with replacements. It will just happen again. And I considered this my "best cookeware". What a disappointment. Even my old Salad Master stuff still cooks perfectly.

Never used it on a glass top stove, but I love it Feb 01, 2008 I've never used it on a glass-top stove (I like my cast-iron too much to use a glass-top stove), but I've never had any real problem with mine, and I use it for just about everything I cook. The nonstick is beginning to peel off after 5 years of use, but since I ignore recommendations and put it in the dishwasher, and have been known occasionally to use a metal spatula in it, I have trouble being too bent out of shape about it. Certainly when, in another year or two, this one wears out I intend to buy another Calphalon to replace it.

Calphalon pans warp and aren't suited to glass top ranges. Jul 14, 2007 I am tired of my anodized infused, expensive flat bottomed Calphalon pans turning into woks. They are simply not suited for glass top ranges. Over time, they warp and develop a rounded bottom that causes them to spin dangerously on the stove top when stirring, and they make very poor contact with the heating surface. I have had the same experience with every flat bottomed piece that I have purchased, and while their warranty is OK, I don't care to spend my time sending cookware back to the manufacturer.
