 great, but glue on the bottom 'scooper' piece Sep 25, 2025
We love this unit. It's been out go-to chopper for all things. The hand-pull works well and doesn't require annoying cords or motors. It's a snap to clean, we just toss all the pieces in the dishwasher. We wish the same company would make a "mini" version for smaller chopping jobs.
HOWEVER, it has one flaw. They smartly have a plastic "scooper" piece that fits onto the bottom of the spindle. This piece helps pick up tiny stuff so it gets chopped smaller when you want a fine-chop. (otherwise small pieces just sit under the low-blade). However, because this piece on the bottom is removable, it's very easy to LOSE! We just lost ours (possibly down the sink disposal), and the chopper no longer works well to make tiny tiny chops. So far I can't find a way to buy just this small plastic part. I'm going to buy another one, but this time I'm going to glue on that bottom piece so I don't lose it!

I am a huge kitchen gadget fan ... Got to say this is my new favorite. I have always diced things manually ... old school. Bought this and I absolutely love it. Very easy to use and clean. Very uniform pieces and doesn't turn onions to mush. I think this is a BEST BUY!!!

This is a fantastic contraption that's fun to use, easy to clean and very efficient. It saves both chopping and clean up time and works with everything from sweet bell peppers to the finest herbs.

Chef'n VeggiChop Vegetable Chopper is easy to operate even if you put reddish or something tough. You need to pull the ring only a couple of times and salad is already salsa consistency. I love it but other members of my family are pretty conservative, like salad chunky. I gave it 4 stars because, in my opinion, it should cost no more then $19.99

Awesome chopper. LOVE it!!!! Be very careful of the blades they are super sharp, I cut my finger just opening the package. Would definitely recommend this product!
