loved it while it lasted Aug 02, 2010 We bought a 4-1/2 qt back in July 2009 and have been quite happy since its high vertical dimension is very space-efficient in the fridge. We use it to store our weekend soup leftover and nothing else, while taking care not to pour boiling liquid into it and hand wash it every time. The lid seals quite well and is able to keep out any fridge smell in our soup, but it is certainly not water tight in our experience---if you tip the container any liquid inside will sip out very slowly.
Zoom to two weeks ago, a crack started to develop at the dead center of the base, now rendering this container solid-only. We still like it so much that I am writing this while coming back to buy its replacement. But I have to take one star off for the durability.
Overpriced Jul 14, 2010 These containers are made from the cheapest plastic around (polystyrene). They have to be handwashed because the plastic can't take the dishwasher even without drying heat. Also, they aren't airtight. The lid doesn't have a seal. I'd buy something else at this price point.

It is OK but overpriced Jun 06, 2010 For the amount of money they are asking for this it should be covered in gold... LOL
Seriously, it is a good airtight container but I won't be buying any more unless the price drops, I just don't feel they are worth it. 1.25 quart is really not very big. I got it because it says it is BPA free but to buy a lot of pieces would cost a fortune so I will stick with glass for now.

Great product Apr 10, 2010 This is a great product which amazon shipped loosely in very poor packaging. Half of the canisters I ordered arrived broken. We got a refund but that's not the point. So once again, top-notch product by ClickClack, shoddy packaging by amazon.

NIce Canister Feb 10, 2010 Nice canister, easily holds a bag of flour and is much easier to use than the tupperware canister that it is replacing. Not sure of the durability factor, bought a set of three to go with this one and two of them were broken when they arrived. The clasp is easy to use and secure with a good gasket to seal the contents up.
