Heavy Duty Nov 15, 2025 I love this rolling pin. I only use it for pizza so far but worth it and seems like it'll last forever. i already dropped it and no scratches.

Great Roller Jun 04, 2025 I purchased this product because my next door neighbor had this, and got tired of borrowing hers all the time. So I decided to purchase my own and so far it has not dissappointed me.
I love the fact that the dough doesn't stick to the roller.

non-stick? for flour, maybe.. May 26, 2025 After "making" yet another pie with this piece of junk, I'm now scouring amazon for a new rolling pin. I have no clue how this thing can possibly market itself as non-stick. As soon as it touches pie crust, it adheres to it, yet when I put flour on the surface of the pin it simply slides right off. I have to pat it on about 10 times to make the flour stick just long enough for 2 or 3 passes over my dough, repair what has been pulled off (as it always does with this wretched thing) and then pat pat pat on more flour. Ugh, I'm so frustrated with the stupid thing that I loathe even looking at it in passing while looking up a replacement for it. Fortunately it was a gift so I personally did not waste any money on it...Yes the grips are lovely and yes it rolls oh so smoothly, but unless you're using it for play-doh, please please do not waste your time (or patience, or your dough that you're trying so lovingly to put together).

Best Rolling Pin I Have Ever Used!! May 17, 2025 If you look at all of the reviews for this product you will see that it has its fair share of negative comments. In all honesty I almost purchased a different rolling pin due to these comments but I am really glad that I decided to buy it anyways as I for one absolutely love this rolling pin. First and foremost its has a perfect size and weight. This combined with a great set of handles makes this the most comfortable rolling pin I have ever used and I have used quite a few in my time.
The complaint that I have to disagree with the most is in regards to the dough sticking to the pin. While it is certainly a bit more sticky than wooden rolling pins, its not so sticky as to make it a nuisance. In fact I prefer this pin's level of stickiness to my old wooden pin. It gives it a better grip on the dough, yet not enough so that it causes problems. If your having a serious problem with dough sticking to this pin then I would take a good look at how accurate your measurements are because I can tell you first hand that this pin is not too sticky.
One of my favorite aspects to this pin is the fact that the handles are weighted so they are always in the proper position. This combined with a perfect height off the surface of the roller assure you will never bang you knuckles again. Of course it would be criminal of me not to mention the overall quality of this rolling pin. Like most of OXO's products, it has a very high build quality. I have absolutely no doubt that this pin will be with me for a very long time.
Bottom line - If your looking for a very high quality rolling pin then you should at least give the OXO rolling pin a look. The little details like the weighted handles really make this pin a real pleasure to work with.
5 Stars!

Broke with the first use! Feb 26, 2025 In general, I think Oxo products are pretty well made, and when I saw the previous reviews for this product, I decided to purchase it. My high hopes didn't last long... With the first use of the rolling pin (to roll pasta dough), one of the handles broke. This was likely just a single product defect rather than a design defect, but I wasn't willing to test it out again. On the bright side, Amazon was very responsive to my refund request.
