HAS TO BE THE BEST EVER May 24, 2010 I bought a Prepara Trio-Tri Blade Peeler for my wife and she just loves it. She says she doesn't know how anyone could make a better peeler.
Vistors to her kitchen has raved about the peeler so much that I've started giving them as gifts and the feedback is always great.
Came back for another May 24, 2010 I've had mine for sev'l years and the bottom unit finally wouldn't stay put so I re-ordered another. I got my use out of it. It wasn't so costly that I would say it was a waste. If this new one I just ordered lasts as long, I'll be very happy. I use the double-serrated blade most of all b/c it allows back and forth peeling, saving half the time. It feels good in the hand b/c it has a good grip, doesn't slip when your hands are wet. I found that I didn't even have to release the inner part for cleaning--just a quick rinse over the blade you used and over the body is sufficient. By the way, I can attest to the fact first-hand how sharp this is...I was zipping along to peel potatoes, a task which I hate, and my fingertip paid the price. This is not a toy; as with kitchen knives, use due caution! I also like that I don't have 3 or 4 peelers all in a fuddle in the drawer, these are all compactly stored in one unit.
Great! Apr 22, 2010 I bought a 2nd one for my BF so I'd have it to use at his place too. Love it!

Design issues Oct 18, 2009 The trio three-blade peeler gets high marks as a peeler but fails miserably in it's design. The plastic retainers that keep the blade cartridge in the handle break very easily leaving the chef with a handful of totally worthless peeler parts.

Loved it until it broke Sep 16, 2009 This was a great and versatile peeler until it broke after only a few months of use. The plastic seems a bit shabby. It stained and didn't come clean in the top rack of the dishwasher. Went to use it one day and the part that inserts into the handle stopped connecting to the body of the utensil.
