Pretty good board May 23, 2007 I try to avoid celebrity chef endorsed products as much as possible, but since Ming isn't on the Food Network, I figured what the hey. This is a good, solid board that offers plenty of resistance without dulling, and it smells nice, too. I very much wish it was larger in at least one direction, though--it's really quite diminutive--and I don't fully understand the decision to make the sides curved, either.
Update: after several months of daily use with proper washing and occasional oiling, my board has warped and developed some splits. Contact with alkaline substances (such as baking soda) also seems to discolor the wood quite horribly. It was nice while it lasted, but I'm moving on to harder, pricier woods I'm afraid.
