Definitely a class grill! Jul 24, 2025 I bought the Weber S-320 stainless grill in early September 2009 from Amazon. At the time it was the best price I could find anywhere on the internet or in brick and mortar stores. Amazon now has it priced even lower and is still offering free shipping. Free shipping is a real plus for this as it's a heavy item, I believe about 170 lbs.
It arrived very promptly and in excellent condition. We decided to put it together right away but, since it was so late in the season, to wait until Spring to start using it and finish up with our old Char-Broil grill for last Fall.
It does take awhile to assemble. I took my time and made sure I did everything carefully and correctly. It is very well made and very sturdy and all the parts fit together just fine. Although it is heavy, the casters roll so smoothly, it is exceptionally easy to move around once assembled.
We started using it this Summer and it does an extremely nice job. It makes a very even heat and all your weenies or burgers are cooked to the same degree without having to keep shifting them around to different areas of the grill. Just lay them on and flip occasionally. According to what I remember seeing in the instructions it is also possible to grill using just the front and rear burners only and not have to flip at all. I haven't tried that yet but as the heat is so even, I suspect that method might work very well.
We especially like the excellent thermometer in the lid and the great battery operated flame igniter. Haven't used the side burner to cook yet but we did try it and it works fine.
All in all a most excellent grill and we assume it will last as long as we will.....or longer.
It's heavy, like your mom. Jul 23, 2025 My experience with CEVA was good. Seems like it took 5 days, much less than the estimated time given. It took my son and I one hour and fifteen minutes to assemble. Only drew blood once. Yeah, it's nice. Glad I got it.
Loyal To Weber Jul 08, 2025 Last summer this grill replaced a 17 year old Genesis which was still working. It looked and worked fine, but I was redoing the patio and wanted something snazzier with a stainless body for easy cleaning.
I bought a new Genesis because the old Genesis was a real workhorse and other than replacing wooden tray slats and grill plates once I never had to repair any mechanism in the grill. I also bought this because we inherited a new Ducane natural gas grill when we bought another home and it was inferior by comparison. The Ducane has required numerous replacement components in the past 8 years. The costs involved in repairing the Ducane could have easily replaced it a couple of times.
This grill is easy to use and easy to clean. It has an automatic ignition system and is easily cleaned with a garden hose. I have also used my power washer on it and it was a snap. The thermometer gets the heat up and keeps it consistent. I'm not much a cook or grillmaster, but it does a fine job on steaks, burgers, portabello mushrooms, chicken, corn on the cob, potatoes, grilled vegetables, hot dogs, sausages, or shrimp. The side burner is great for any side dishes which may require a warm-up, but I really don't use it that often. The actual grill surface is more than adequate for the average family.
The stainless steel exterior is the big draw for me. It is sturdy, easy to keep clean, and attractive.
This is a good grill for the basic bbq'er. I have friends who own larger grills with fancy rotisseries and woks, higher btu's, and larger grilling and work surfaces, but this really does fine for most families and entertaining as many as 15 people.
While this grill is a tad pricey compared to some models that are found in the big box hardware and/or discount stores, you get what you pay for. This grill is made to last a long time.
Genesis s-320 Jul 06, 2025 Best grill I've ever used! Heat control is excellent. Even cooking for the whole surface. Like the fuel gauge and the catch pan system. The stainless surface is a pain to keep clean, but I use a Weber cover that fits like a glove. Really like the way it does chicken parts slowly with just the center burner on.
.......this is it!! Jul 02, 2025 I did a lot of research before buying this BBQ. The price is always debatable, but I had a BBQ close to the same price and that one did not even come close to the Weber Genesis S 320:
- Solid construction
- well engineered and manufactured
- even heating / easy to control heat / gets very hot
- propane scale/gauge is a nice plus (give's you an idea how much LP you have left).
If you're taking a closer look in comparing this to the E320, then there's more to the difference than just the stainless outside. The internal parts are also different (7mm solid stainless grate, stainless flavoring bars...).
Bottom line -- you can't go wrong with a Weber Genesis. I recommend the S-320 if it fits your budget. Otherwise, you're still getting a good grill with the E-320 and what I really like is the simplicity, easy to clean, easy to get to.
Here are a few wrinkles or nice to have: an extension of the side tables, and I felt the description of screws and washers could be a bit more direct or precise. Other than that I am very happy about this BBQ.
I bought it from Amazon and it arrived as promised, the shipping company called me to arrange delivery, and I received it a couple of days later. They placed the big, heavy box where I asked them to put it.
I can't say enough to endorse this grill. You will not regret the purchase.
