I did not rate this holder a 5 because when I need larger cookbooks held, it just can't do it and it also seems very flimsy. When using small cookbooks it works fine. The swivel makes it great especially when you are doing multiple things.

Great idea. Sometimes flips over when using a large cook book. Would recommend with caution.

Not only does it not hold a simple small cookbook up straight but it won't even hold a magazine. I hate this so much that it went in the garbage just a few minutes after I took it out of the box.

I try a lot of recipes from Taste of Home and Southern Living magazines, and this holder is just perfect. I especially like the swivel base, and since there is never enough counter space, the way that it folds flat for storage. I will be ordering more of these for gifts.

This is one of those products you'll think "why didn't I invent this" and become rich or at least well off. It works great and keeps the books clean. My only beef is that Amazon ships it through DHL and they pretty much suck...really, they are bloody horrible so your shipment will not be delivered on time.
