Doesn't Last - Believe The Other Reviews!!!! Nov 23, 2025 This was a great spatula until yesterday, when we noticed the silicone had torn and the metal underneath was exposed. I came to Amazon looking for a replacement and thought I'd check out the reviews of my former spatula. To my surprise it seems like other people have had the exact same experience as me. I do not recommend this spatula at all. Yes, it worked great for awhile but now I'm very disappointed and spatula-less (and there are homemade sourdough pancakes to flip this morning!). For me it's not enough for the product to work great for a short period of time and then break. I don't want to buy one of these every 9 months or so - shouldn't a spatula last longer than that at least? Well, I'm off to do research on Amazon and buy a new spatula, one that will hopefully last longer than this Oxo piece of junk.
Enjoy its use Nov 23, 2025 This spatula was purchased two years ago; a means of solving the spatula melted-edge syndrome in a non stick aluminum omelet pan. Two observations after two years use; this spatula seems impervious to high heat. Its soft surface follows a pan's inside curve to easily return food to the center of the pan. Switching to non stick stainless steel became a more enjoyable experience than non stick aluminum. The spatula used daily for scrambled eggs or omelet in a 10-inch pan is still going strong issue free.
Great tool Nov 21, 2025 Have had this spatula about a month and love it so far. Easy to use; thin enough to get under fried eggs, but strong enough to hold some weight.

No better or worse than any other non metal spatula Oct 07, 2025 The problem with non-metal spatulas is that they are just to thick. The edge of this utensil is tappered pretty well but the fact remains that it is to thick to slide all the way under a fried egg to flip it or take it out of the pan. This spatula will get two inches under the food before it starts pushing the food around in the panwithout getting under it any more which is not enough to lift the egg (or anything else that is not stiff) without it folding over on itself.

Little too flexible for me Sep 20, 2025 It's a good spatula overall. Heat resistant and it cleans easily. However, I found the extra silcone that extends past the end of the metal spatula to be a bit of a hinderance. That piece makes it difficult to slide the spatula under certain items for turning. Often leading to you chasing the food around your pan with the spatula trying to get it flipped. Or folding up your pancakes like an accordian.
But otherwise this is a good spatula.
